The new Impact SuperSet, like its 3/8" Drive chrome counterpart, is packaged in a molded plastic case for optimal tool control and safe, secure storage. The lids on many molded cases are easily removed for use in mobile work stations, such as the SK ProBox.
• Corrosive Resistant - These new SK sockets are coated with a rust-preventative compound, which makes them exceptionally resistant to corrosive factors. In a salt fog test conducted by Western Rust Proof Co., SK sockets were tested against several other leading-brand sockets. After 24 hours of testing, only the new SK sockets withstood the harsh test, showing no rust, whereas the competitor’s sockets were fully covered in rust.
• In addition to the rust-preventative coating, these S•K sockets are laser engraved with extra-large markings for improved readability. Technicians are able to identify sockets more quickly with the new high visibility markings. This extra-large marking not only increases efficiency, but it is essential when working in areas with very little light
